This is an extraordinary partnership between Cinequest's Digital Workshop and San Jose State University, shot in Summer, 2002, this collaboration is creating a remarkable feature film entitled "Seizing Me," an incubation project that provides an exciting mentorship program for students and launches a groundbreaking new endeavor.

Who
are we? Cinequest produces the Cinequest Film Festival, Cinequest
DXD (digital cinema and delivery), Cinequest Script to Screen (education
& mentoring program), and now the Cinequest Digital Workshop (producing
maverick filmmaking). Selected as the world's Top 10 film festival by
the Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide, Cinequest joined Cannes,
Toronto, and Sundance as a preeminent media institution. Cinequest Inspires

what better partnership could be made than with the maverick visionaries
of tomorrow: the students of San Jose State University. With the
cooperation of the department of Television, Radio, Film, and Theatre,
the Cinequest Digital Workshop have filmed Seizing Me on San
Jose State University stages, providing a multitude of educational opportunities
as students are mentored through the exhilarating and challenging creative
process. Students' experiences ranged from set design to lighting design
to production experience on an actual movie set
